An official tour operator!
We have been running tours for many years using tour operators so we decided to become one ourselves!! After much research we settled on applying to join the much respected Travel Trust Association and after a few months changing our business to suit their legal requirements we became official members!
Starting January 1st 2025 all tours under our Wildbunch Expeditions banner will run with our TTA bonding. Clients have already been registered for this for several tours and have received their insurance certificates so we are well and truly up and running. Over the coming months we will start to explore and expand our membership, right now we are not ATOL members so cannot book flights but this may change!
For you, the traveller, this means peace of mind that you are travelling with an officially recognised company with the financial protection for yoyr money included as standard. It shows that we are dedicated to providing you with a professional travel service.
The Travel Trust Association
The Travel Trust Association is a trade association of Travel Agents, Tour Operators and Travel Organisers, that operate trust accounts, in order to provide financial protection for the consumer. The TTA lays down strict guidelines on how customer funds may be handled and each member must adhere to these guidelines. Every TTA member puts customer’s funds’ into a designated trust account, which is supervised by an independent trustee. The trustee is a banker, Chartered or Certified Accountant, or Solicitor. Your funds are held in this account and may not be released unless you receive your holiday or your funds are released to another company that becomes responsible and provides for your financial protection.
