The last flying Sea Vixen in the world overflying Start Point Lighthouse in Devon. Sea Vixen Start Point Lighthouse is a limited edition available as a framed fine art print or a fine art canvas. 50% of the profits for this image are being donated to Navy Wings to ensure that our Naval heritage is preserved for generations to come. All prints are signed by the pilot, Commander Hargreaves MBE and the photographer Andy Rouse.

This open edition print is available in two formats:

1) A fine art ready to hang Canvas, this is perhaps our most popular format as it's modern and looks amazing. The size quoted is the length of the longest side. They suit all room types, where there is an excess of light and also an absence of light, in fact they look great anywhere and in our house we only have canvas prints.

2) A fine art Framed Giclee Print . This is the more traditional format for our prints, coming ready to hang and is best placed away from direct sunlight as reflections from the glass can make it less appealing. The frame style is shown below. The frame is created from high-quality wood, milled with simple clean lines and presented with a smooth black satin finish. The frame is complimented by a simple, elegant custom mount, cut perfectly for the image. The product is delivered in a drop proof box and is ready for hanging. The frame size is approximately 54cm x 44cm with the image size 43cm x 31cm. The print contains the edition number and is signed by both the pilot, Commander Hargreaves MBE and the photographer Andy Rouse.

Both framed print and canvas are supplied with a signed certificate of authenticity. Note because of the weave the canvas print is not able to be signed or numbered directly, hence the certificate is the proof of limited edition status.

Why create the hassle of framing yourself? Our canvas and framed options are competitively priced and ready to hang!

About Navy Wings

By bringing together flying historic naval aircraft, people and the stories associated with flying from warships at sea, NAVY WINGS aims to inspire future generations and to create a focus for remembrance.

The NAVY WINGS Collection unites a range of owners and operators of historic Naval aircraft. This outstanding array of aircraft, when considered together, provides a unique insight into the full suite of Naval aviation achievements, from the very earliest days of flying aircraft from the water to the breathtaking technological advances that enable high-speed jets and heavy helicopters to land on the moving decks of ships at sea.

The core of the collection comprises the aircraft of the Royal Navy Historic Flight (RNHF) and the Fly Navy Heritage Trust (FNHT). Through the generous contribution of other heritage naval aircraft owners who, under the NAVY WINGS umbrella, join the RNHF and FNHT at air displays and air shows, an impressive story of the very best of naval aircraft development can be told.

50% of the profits from this print are donated to Navy Wings so your purchase will help continue to support amazing aircraft like the Sea Vixen. For information on the work of Navy Wings please click here for their website.
